Jalz Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Hi Guys, Im tryingmto install FileMaker Server 9 on Leopard and I keep having trouble when trying to launch and deply my software. I think its Java trouble, but I think I have the latest version of Java installed and I've updated Mac OS to the latest update. Any of you encounter this problem? PC installation was far easier (can't belive I just said that!)
Vaughan Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Only FMS 9.0v3 is compatible with Leopard. Which version are you trying to run?
Jalz Posted July 14, 2008 Author Posted July 14, 2008 Hi Vaughan, Yep, Im trying to deploy my developer copy of Server 9v3 on my Macbook, OS Leopard as I want to learn PHP. I can seem to run the deploy wizard, I can on my PC linking to my MAC after reading this KB http://filemaker.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/filemaker.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=6842&p_created=1204843768&p_sid=COs*dJ8j&p_accessibility=0&p_redirect=&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9NTc0LDU3NCZwX3Byb2RzPSZwX2NhdHM9JnBfcHY9JnBfY3Y9JnBfcHNfYW5zX3VwZGF0ZWQ9JnBfcGFnZT0xJnBfc2VhcmNoX3RleHQ9b3MgeCBqYXZhIHNlcmVy&p_li=&p_topview=1 Does anyone know how I can rename my php.ini.default to php.ini in the etc folder of MACOS. I think this is all I need to do now to get FMS working with PHP. Thanks
