The Tampa FileMaker Users Group has been on a bit of hiatus for the summer. Attendence was dropping off, and what with high gas prices, scheduling and finding a venue convenient for everyone, we thought we'd take some time off.

For the month of August, we'd like to try something different. Our August meeting will be virtual! Using GoToMeeting software, we'll meet online, each from our own locations and our own computers. GoToMeeting provides a conference call, so we can all be on the phone together, and provides the ability to all view the same screen, and even allow different attendees to run the keyboard and mouse. Our hope is that this will allow us to meet more conveniently and comfortably. We're not ruling out the real-world meetings, but depending on how this goes, perhaps we can meet more frequently this way.
