ShawnR Posted August 6, 2008 Author Share Posted August 6, 2008 I am currently running 10.5.2, and there are known problems with AFP and also using secure connections to the Open Directory. AFP is causing problems that it needs to be restarted every 5-10 mins, or the transfer rate is about 100k per second on a gigabit network. Makes it totally useless. There are a bunch of posts on the Apple site about it, and it is said that 10.5.4 fixes this. I know, I should only have FMS on the box, but that is just not a solution.
