titanium76 Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 (edited) :idunno: In the past I used a simple applescript to call on the Printer Setup Utility to switch printers. Leopard ditched that app and has totally integrated it into System Preferences. Does anyone know a way to access those settings via applescript? Better yet, how about a terminal command? :idunno: Edited August 6, 2008 by Guest
Colin Keefe Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 The app no longer exists as an clickable icon in the Finder in Leopard, but the prefs pane in System Preferences is apparently just a front end for it - you can still call Printer Setup Utility by name in an applescript. I can confirm it works, since I just did this a month ago. Have you actually tried running your applescript? Did it break on upgrade? Maybe post your applescript here.
