Learn how to use the SuperContainer plug-in as an alternative to using a standard FileMaker Pro container field for document management. SuperContainer can store files on a traditional file server and link them with a FileMaker Pro database. We'll discuss what SuperContainer is and how to set up a basic implementation. Then, we'll explore the expanded features of the SuperContainer Companion plug-in and the Web capabilities of SuperContainer.

About the Speaker:

Richard Carlton is an 18-year FileMaker veteran and now manages a team of 18 developers, throughout four offices in California. Richard's team is involved in all facets of FileMaker development and has authored numerous white papers on FileMaker and PHP setup and configuration. RCC publishes free FileMaker templates, including Data4Life and the forth coming FM Starting Point. Richard graduated from U.C. Davis with an Engineering degree and greatly enjoys playing dad, and flying RC and full scale aircraft. Richard is a FileMaker Platinum Consultant, with certifications for FM7, FM8 and FM9.
