Is there a way anyone knows of to lock windows in FMP 5 running on Mac OS 8.6? I already am running SecureFM to lock menus and the close box, but would like to prevent users from minimizing or windowshading the window. Also would like to prevent manual resizing or moving of the window. The goal is to prevent access to underlying windows in a multi file system except via scripts which perform certain critical tasks. Thanks in advance...

Sounds like you could use a copy of Filemaker Developer if you have the bucks. It has a "Kiosk" mode which to the best of my knowledge allows you to get rid of menubars, window options, etc. without any plug-ins. If you come across anything of this nature for fmp5 though, please do tell as I would also like to have such window control. . .. .
