I can't get Site Assistant to login to a Windows-based FMS 9.0v3 database. I'm running Site Assistant from a Mac with OS 10.5.4. My database requires authentication, direct login works fine, and has fmphp enabled. The Test PHP database screen works and connecting to it using PHP Site Assistant works.

In PHP Site Assistant I can connect to the server. I see all active databases. When I try to select and authenticate the desired database, I always get "Invalid user name or password." It doesn't matter whether I select "Prompt user..." or "Store database account..."

The admin login is managed by FMS directly, user accounts are externally authenticated. I've tried logging in with both admin and user accounts.

I got the message 'invalid user name or password. Please try again.' when trying to authenticate. While the user had '[Full Access]' listed under privilege set, it turned out I had not checked off 'Access via PHP Web Publishing' in the extended privileges. Check that area to see if it fixes the authentication problem.
