blissland Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 I have a landscape layout where all content fits within the landscape border in layout mode. If I try to print it as a pdf or look at it in print preview, it cuts off a little on the right. Its not an issue of it trying to print in letter mode. if i view it in preview mode, i can see how the border is wider on the right than the left, but i don't see how to change that. in layout mode i can't change the width of the object body. Sometimes in layout mode the lines cut where the problem is, but when i select landscape mode in pagesetup, it goes back to everything fitting properly. what factoid am i missing here?
Vaughan Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Check (in layout options, printing) whether the layout has been set to have fixed page margins. These may be less than those required for the selected printer. Also check whether the process is scripted and if it contains a page setup step that restores a page size. In Mac OS X the page setup can be set to a particular printer or to "generic" which typically has a wider right hand margin (because inkjet printers need a bit of paper to feed).
