September 13, 200817 yr I'm wondering if anyone can confirm whether the 24U Virtual User plugin is broken on Mac OS X 10.4.x and WinXP. Using the demo application that comes with the product, when I record keystroke steps, regular keys (like typing 'a', 'b', 'c') work fine. But when I type a modifier with keystoke (such as 'command-a', 'opt-a' or 'control-a'), the events are ignored. Likewise when I execute the following script step: Set Variable [VUser_Replay( "type command p")] nothing happens (on Mac). It should invoke the Print dialog. On WinXP, I try "type control p" and again nothing happens. Yet "type p" works just fine on both platforms. Any info is much appreciated. John
September 17, 200817 yr Author Just got a confirmation (9/15/08) from the folks at 24U Software (www.24usoftware.com) that 24U VirtualUser does have a bug that prevents the use of all modifier keys with text except the Shift key. They said a fix would be included in version 1.1 but did not give a potential delivery date. John
