Hello. Am trying to use a script to import an .xls spreadsheet of users (originally from Active Directory) into a 'users' table in a remote FM database. The .xls file is updated daily and sits on the same server as filemaker server advanced does, which is also where the filemaker database I'm importing into lives. The script works great if I run it locally and navigate to the file, but when its set to import from the fmnet:/hostname/filename, it can't locate the file. I then tried to manually import from the fmnet:/hostname/ path and it seems like it can only see filemaker databases, not other file formats. Does anyone know of a way round this, either within filemaker itself, or via a plug in?
