Create a batch of records from a related list

Featured Replies

Is there a way to create a batch of records based off a list:

I have a list of "Current Student" names in one database related to "Student Name" in another.

Currently the process I use is creating records one at a time, going down the list selecting each new student.

Is there a way to create a record for the first student in the list, then create a new record for the second student in the list, then ..., to the last student in the list?

It seems it should be entirely doable, but I can't find the right script step to step down that list.

Thanks!

Daniel

Import between tables could be a way, but we have way to little to go on here. There is a classic database problem hidden in here current students vs all students having been enrolled at all times ... I can't just read it out of the revelations you here indulge us with here. :P

But here's some methodology you can study:
