bevo1801 Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 (edited) I have just recently upgraded my FileMaker Server (FMS 9 ADV) from Mac OS Tiger to Leopard. Upon reinstallation of SuperContainer (Version 1.857), and after moving my previously stored documents to the SuperContainer/Files folder from the old CPU, I am able to see the "old" files through a Filemaker Client and through IWP versions of the same. However, when I attempt to upload a "new" file, I encounter a HTTP Status 500 Error. The error message reads: "FileMaker Server has encountered an error: The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request." I assume this is a configuration error on my part, but have been unable to resolve the issue. Folder permissions, perhaps? My apologies if this is not SuperContainer-related. Thank you. bevo1801 Posted September 30, 2008 Author Posted September 30, 2008 As it turns out, this was an issue with the folder permissions, and not with SC. After assigning the fmserver group as the owner of the SC File folders using BatchMod, I no longer receive the HTTP Status 500 error and I am now able to upload new documents.
