Caleb Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 I have a database with the following tables: Contacts, Quotes, and Products. In the list view of Quotes, I have all quotes listed with the contact information of the contact associated with the quote. I want add to list, all the products, quantities, and prices of all the products for each quote inside a portal. I inserted a portal in the list view of Quotes and in browse mode it only shows up inside the first record. As you highlight the other records, the portal displays the prodcut ID, qty, and price of the highlighted record. How do I get the portal to show up in each individual record of the list view, to display the individual records product info? Can someone help? Is there a better way to do this, or can I modify the portal to display the right information? Thanks, Caleb
Vaughan Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 "I inserted a portal in the list view of Quotes and in browse mode it only shows up inside the first record." Is the portal in the body part or is any of it in the header or footer?
Caleb Posted October 3, 2008 Author Posted October 3, 2008 I unlocked the portal on all sides and made sure it wasn't overlapped inside the record, voila!, it works. Thanks for the response.
