Printing Problem Repeating Fields

Featured Replies

I get some odd problems with my repeating fields in preview when I slide up and reduce the enclosing part. File attached. That is in preview. Looks fine in browse. It varies from record to record the bottom one is perfect. I have changed every thing I can to try to fix it. Any ideas??

Well, the ultimate answer is to get rid of the repeaters and replace them with a related table.

Quite a coincidence, my middle name is Vaughan.

I though about that but is probably more than 100 hours of work creating 160 fields and and 100 calculations on those fields. I only have 50 hours left at this job.

Indeed a wrong metaphor you're barking up against, when doing spreadsheets indeed think cells, but when doing databases think in records.

Regarding the workload, is it unfortunately the same as sawing, it's better to think twice before sawing, than opposite.

Development of databases in filemaker isn't what you cunningly have been mislead to think a pendant to "America Got Talent" - it's a craft that even the extroverts in Richard Florida's creative class should take a bit more serious than a mean to show off.
