Hi all,

I need to extend the number of licenses for a FM System but am unable to source new licenses through FileMaker because of the version age.

Does anyone have a volume license for FileMaker Pro 5.5 that they are no longer using and are willing to part with.

Upgrading to a newer version of FileMaker is not an option for this system.

You can buy new licenses and "downgrade" them to practically any version you want. Just don't expect media and documentation.

BTW, FMP 6 is compatible with FMP 5.5 so if you can find FMP 6 licenses then grab them.

I don't know whether volume licenses are transferrable...

Yes, you are correct the volume license is non-transferable and therefore I would need single retail versions of FMP 5 or 6.

I did contact FileMaker about a downgrade option but they said it was not available.
