Word file from Filemaker

Featured Replies

Hi,

I know this would be very easy. I tried a bit but not working fine.

I have word file stored in container field. What would be a script, to open that file, if I make that container field a button. I think I did that before some time, but how, not remembering now.

Hoping for your quick response.

Regards, Tusif

The "Export Field Contents" script step does what you want.

Hi.

First, thanks for your quick reply.

I used this beofre, but when I am clicking, it says the message "The button requires that field be active. Press tab or click in field to make a field active" with option of OK and it takes me back.

I tried to use goto field command in script before also, but it seems something I am missing.

Thanks for your help again. Regards, Tusif
