I have table X which is related in a one-to-many relationship with daughter table Y. I am wondering if its possible to create a calculation field in table X that will automatically calculate any of the following:

1. the value of the first related Y ID field

2. the value of the last related ID field

3. the number of Y related records.

I can imagine how this could be done via a script but I'd like to have this available without requiring a buttonpress.

Assuming Y ID always has a value (though Last() would still work if not), and that the Y relationship is not sorted. Unless I'm not understanding, these are very simple.

1. Y::ID (does not need calculation field, unless you're using it locally for another relationship)

2. Last ( Y::ID )

3. Count ( Y::ID )
