Audit capabilities of FMP?

I would like to know if FileMaker 8.0 Server has any audit capabilities or logging that would allow me to see who has viewed and/or modified a table?

The users all log into FileMaker with their own usernames and passwords.

If FM8 server doesn't do audit tracking does FM9 server have this feature?

viewed and/or modified

Modification is tracked by developing something in the vicinity of this:

...but becasue the ownership to a record isn't established before the user clicks into a field and alters something, can't views be tracked this way. This means you would have to get rid of the status area, and facilitate your solution with scripted jumps from record to record.

Well it's not fully correct, but you could make webviewers pull the execution of script trigging via a 3rd party tool like this:

...but natively would you be troubled to find a solution to track views only!

No to both questions.

What you need is the fmDataGuard product from WorldSync. Check out the information on their web site here.

fmDataGuard tracks adds, deletes, edits, [color:red]and views.
