FMS didn't transfer properly to new MBP

Featured Replies

Last night I transferred all my files and applications from an older MBP to the new MBP. everything transfered fine except for FMS9 which says its unable to launch. the all the details are below. What's the solution? Before I transfered I stopped sharing and I stopped the server as well. It should be serving 3 dbs when its on.

Also, is there any way to not have the FMS9 icon on my desktop--I hate having unnecessary icons in my desktop when it should be just in the dock or apps folder.

An error occurred while launching/running the application.

YOu probably need to do a fresh reinstall of FileMaker Server on the new machine.
