FMS 9 Advanced IWP problem

I have FMSA version 9.0.3.326 deployed on a single machine running under Leopard on an Apple Xserve but I can't access databases via IWP. In the admin console, the FMS Overview panel reports that the server status is normal and the Web Publishing Engine indicates that IWP is on. I can also verify that my DB is hosted, along with the FMServer Sample DB, and available via IWP to clients. Also, the recommended ports are all open however, when I run the technology tests using the Open Test Page command, only the IWP fails; My browser (regardless if Firefox, Safari, or IE) remains in a fixed processing state and no errors are logged. Any troubleshooting ideas or solutions?
