I am looking for a good template to manage addresses and mailing list of my friends and contacts. Are there any avialable?

Try to look inthe templates provided with FileMaker; that is, when you go File->Open, and the open file dialog box comes up, on the right side you can find templates of databases provided by FileMaker. Otherwise, you have to create your own databases, and if you have any difficulties you know where to go..!
