Noob question:

I'm using filemaker 6. I have a database containing names and adresses and telephone nos. When selecting seach mode the cursor goes into the adress box, how would i make it go to the telephone box by default?

While in layout mode, go to the Layout menu and choose Edit Tab Order.

The first field in the tab order will be the first field that you wind up in in find mode.

Otherwise you will need to create a scripted process to do your finds, in which case you would use the Go To Field [] script step.
