Right Align doesn't Right Align

I have a report with a column of numbers. The field is set to right align but the numbers, depending on the number, do not right align. Some numbers are out by one pixel. Enough to be noticeable on the printout.

If I use a fixed font like courier it is ok. Using Tahoma or Arial makes for the misalignment. I also tried a test with a text field and same results. I inserted the vertical line in the3 image so it would be easier to see the problem.

Any suggestions.

I had to do a link as I couldn't figure out how to insert an image.
