EVENT: [big][color:red]Search Results[/big]

Matt Navarre returns to show us the state of the art in search: adding Google-like searches to your FileMaker database. Matt has been perfecting this technique for a while and discussed some of these ideas at his popular DevCon session on search.

Matt describes a technique for scripting searches across multiple tables in the same solution, and presenting your users with an intuitive list of the results. Best of all, this technique is pretty easy to add to your own files. Matt has been working on some pretty intense search solutions lately and brings a lot of insight into how to speed up searches, what bogs them down, and what users are *really* looking for.

Angelo Luchi from SolutionMakers will also be offering a short presentation on working with files and images: going beyond container fields. You've probably heard all of the hype about Amazon Web Services. Maybe you haven't, but are looking for a central place to load shared files linked to your FileMaker Solution. Angelo will go over how to use Amazon Simple Storage Service (or Amazon S3) with your FileMaker solution as well as backing up your FileMaker solutions to S3 from either a peer to peer situation or FileMaker Server setup. Very cool.
