Hello everyone,

Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on how to manage serial numbers in a multiuser environment? Specifically, we have purchased 2 x 10-user licences (VLA) and therefore have 2 serial numbers. We have installed most of these licences already and are about to purchase more. The problem is that we lost track of who is using which serial number so when we install a new copy, the user sometimes gets the "maximum number of licences are in use" message. However, we don't know who the 10 users are.

Is there any way to tell what serial number is being used? I noticed that on single user licence copies, the About FileMaker window shows the installation code used. But on a VLA licence, it does not.

Any suggestions?
