Stat Larry Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 I'm working with a set of FileMaker files that has had the filename extension changed to work with a runtime copy of FileMaker. The extension now in use is "723", and I'd like to revert to the standard "fp7" filename extension. I initially EXPECTED that I could EASILY change back to ".fp7" using the FileMaker Advanced developer utility for renaming files. But it seems that I can't add a file to the list of solution files the utility works with unless they have an "fp7" extension already... I was really hoping to avoid manually searching/changing all uses of filenames with the non-standard extension. This would mean looking through a LOT of scripts to search for external script references, etc. But I now suspect there is no alternate approach available. Does anyone have an easier suggestion for reverting to the "fp7" extension? Thanks much for your input
