Hi guys it may sounds like a basic question but I just couldn't figure it out.

I know I could create an activity table and setup a script, when someone delete a record, the record's ID and operator's name, as well as time, will be recorded to the activity table, making it effectively a log

Just wondering, does filemaker Pro 10 or Server 10 has built-in functions like that? so that I don't have to create a table manually....

No. You might however take a look at fmDataGuard from WorldSync. It will create an audit trail and do much more as well.
