wintergreen Posted April 12, 2009 Share Posted April 12, 2009 Does anyone have any experience of upgrading runtime version by first exporting the data (previous version) to XML and then importing the xml files into the newer version? Granted this does not work for container fields, but it seems that it might be a somewhat cleaner method than trying to use filemaker's import script step.. Adam Dempsey Posted April 14, 2009 Share Posted April 14, 2009 I've just finished an update system, which downloads zipped updated files from our FTP server, and automatically performs and export and import on the data file.
