Newbies FM-Elvis Posted April 22, 2009 Newbies Share Posted April 22, 2009 I was looking at our server 9 this am and found 2 files that are quite large. wpc_access_log.txt web_server_module_log.txt one is 400 megs, the other 700 megs. Can these files be deleted without any adverse effects on my db? Will they be created again, just smaller? Thanks in advance! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Steven H. Blackwell Posted April 22, 2009 Share Posted April 22, 2009 There is a setting in the Console to limit log file sizes. In most instances 40 MB is a good limit. FMS will rename the file as log.old and then start a new one. [color:red]I would archive these older logs. There is information in them that could prove useful.
