Hi, I have looked but not found a complete answer to this frequently discussed topic.

My FM9 DB is on PC at work (with very limited access ;) ) but I have a Mac at home, and would like the DB to migrate between platforms either copied locally or run from an external drive.

Currently on my PC there are 9000 external items (largely images, pdf) that are only referenced by a PC path. How do I insert a variable (drawn from a global field) that will change the image path depending on which platform and any drive that I am working on. I am open to more logical solutions - Thanks for any help :
