This is so bizarre. Using FMP 6.0 for Mac. I had several DB files open that are stored on an additional non-bootable HD on the G4. We had a power failure and the computer crashed with all files open. When power resumed and I booted up, I ran Disk First Aid and repaired permissions. Once that was completed, I launched my usual apps. When FMP launched, I could not find certain files to open. They were actually physically missing from the folder they were stored in or not visible anyway. I have tried to find them using FMP recover, various search options, restore options from Norton Utilities among some others and cannot see where the files have gone.

Can anyone offer any suggestions on how to find these files or when they may have gone? How to restore them? Thank you

you can use Disk Warrior to recover the file but you will need to export and import the data into clean db file. Most likely a lot of the relations and field names are corrupt.
