Hi all,

Dont know if anyone can help, but when you install FM Server 8, the installer installs a local user called fmsadmin into the OS?

Does anyone know how I can access the password for this user?

I know of no way to obtain the password for the fmsadmin user. Why do you need it?

One of my old clients contacted me earlier today about an installation I did almost 3/4 years ago. I think they were having trouble with the admin account and noticed FMAdmin has fairly heavy privileges allocated to it - so contacted me if I knew the password. As far as I recall I didn't set one up, so I assumed FileMaker server did, hence the question.
