Save a copy in from server

I have a script that is supposed to save a copy of a filemaker file that runs great from my local machine or a mounted network server but won't when hosted on FM Server 5.

I checked and that option is grayed out on ANY file hosted by Server. Any ideas?

You can't save a copy of the file for the same reason you can't change the passwords when the file is hosted on server.

You need full control of the file so there are no writes to the data while you try to duplicate it.
