Is it possible to use portal to do the following?

ITem|Description

1 Test

2 Testing

Is it possible to use portal to select which record I want to copy to another related file?

If not,any other suggstion?

It is possible to use a portal to select a record, yes. A portal is like a table, except the rows are related records. If you use a "self-join" relationship, the related records can even be in the same database.

As for the "Item | Description" bit at the top, I have no idea what you are asking!
