Newbies Terry J Fundak Posted July 3, 2009 Newbies Posted July 3, 2009 If the password for fmsadmin ( GUI and command line ) is lost, does anyone know where or how to reset it? without a re-install.
Steven H. Blackwell Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 You can do this, but it is very tricky. You must shut FMS down completely and then delete the entire contents of the FileMaker Server/Admin/Conf directory, but [color:red]not the directory itself. When you restart FMS you will have to go through the deployment assistant again. Stopping FMS will be hard to do if you don't know the password. Steven
Fancytricks Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 Go to this folder to find the password. C:Program FilesFileMakerFileMaker ServerAdminadmin-master-tomcatlogsadminServer0 .log
