Hello,

I have a FileMaker Server 5v2 running on Win 2000 Server.

It may run fine for several days, but then all of a sudden the server disappears from the host list and I have to manually stop and start the service to see it there again. I never had this problem on NT 4.0 Server.

Any suggestions?

are there any errors reported in your Event Viewer under application or System?

There are no messages pretending to FileMaker.

Do you have any automated scripts that run i.e Backups? etc

which may attempt to shutdown the service.
