bobthedog Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Hi, This is a bit of a strange one. I have been using Filemaker (10, client) to create PDF factsheets that I want to then upload to a document sharing site called "scribd". Scribd converts the PDF's into some proprietary format called i-paper and makes them public. If I make the PDF from Word using a PDF printer such as PDF995, all is well and scribd can convert the PDF to ipaper. If I create it using Filemaker's "Save As PDF" command, then it looks fine but scribd can't convert it and it ends up with the graphics, but no text. I have played around with Filemakers PDF settings such as the initial page display, but no luck. It looks to me to be the PDF printer driver that comes with Filemaker which is responsible. Is there any way to get it to use another such as PDF995? Cheers, Gary
