Calculation field acts differently...

I have a portal with a calculation field called Net:

Case (TransactionType="Buy" ; ((Abs(stkNumShrs)*Abs(StkPriceShr))+Expenses)*-1;((Abs(stkNumShrs)*Abs(StkPriceShr))-Expenses))

This works on the portal.

But, when I produce a report and put the [color:red]same fields on the report (Sub Summary Section) it produces a "?" mark.

Got any ideas?

Got the answer. The NET field was too narrow. Onward through the fog....
