unable to see non-public Oracle data

Featured Replies

I'm trying to access, read only, one of our Oracle servers but all I am able to see are the public sources and not the non-public ones I need. I have set up the connection with the ODBC Administrator under Mac OS 10.5 and FM 10 Advanced. I know my account information is correct. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Apparently the problem is that the database that I need access to is a "base table" which in this case is restricted due to security reasons. Relationships within FileMaker require access to tables whereas importing data, in this case from an Oracle database, can import from views of a table.
