August 16, 200916 yr Hi - I have a simple portal with two fields ( and ), sorted by , related to the Parent by . In the Parent, on the same layout as the portal is displayed, I have two other fields ( and ). I want to autoenter by calculation the contents of the first portal row date field into . I also want to similarly autoenter the last portal row date into I know it is (probably) possible to script this (via Go to Portal Row and std. logic from then on ...although I am still working through that solution with no satisfactory result yet) but it seems operator input will be required every time a new record is displayed to transfer the data. Autoenter specific portal field by calculation? Any suggestions appreciated. Regards, Rramjet.
