I export records to Excel 2008. The default date format on the new sheet is 1904 as it is on any new sheet I open.

If I copy one sheet to a new workbook, the dates are changed to 1900 format and it is necessary to reset it to 1904 format.

This happens only with information exported from Filemaker 10. Previously ran FM6 and 7 and didn't have this problem.

When I type information into a sheet or export it from MYOB, for example and then copy to a new workbook the 1904 date format doesn't change.

This is quite agravating.

Is it a bug or is there a workaround?

TIA
