Newbies Franky4Fngrs Posted December 18, 2001 Newbies Posted December 18, 2001 I'm using fmserver 3.0 to host about 30 files....I just upgraded from nt4.0 to 2k server (tcp/ip). Now some of my clients can see these hosted files and some can't (all clients are 4.1). Any ideas... Thx in advance

Can they enter the IP address of the server in the Hosts dialog box and see the files then? Are they all using FMP 4.1v3? FWIW, FM Server 3.0v4 (the correct version) is not certified for W2K. Steven H. Blackwell Posted December 18, 2001 Posted December 18, 2001 I presume server has a fixed, static IP address. Does entering the IP address in the the Hosts dialog allow guests to see files? Are files set to multiuser? Try changing protocols and see what happens. Old Advance Man
