undersea
Anyone know how to have server on NT open Fmp files that are not in it's program folder? [email protected]
Vaughan
Put a shortcut to the files into the program folder.
undersea
I tired that first, but it didn't open any of the files within the linked directory. More background. The drive the software is installed on as a UW SCSI drive. I'm trying to move the files to a RAID 5.
Vaughan
Well, it works for me so you must be doing something wrong! FM Server will open shortcuts to one level deep (I think, might be two) so you can out a shortcut to a folder with databases inside and server will see the files OK, but it will not see inside any folders inside that folder.
