This is from the Filemaker web site: "LDAP Directory Support FileMaker Server 5.5 can register on an LDAP server for easy location by FileMaker Pro 5.5 clients and for tracking from the IT department." Blackwell Posted February 17, 2002 Share Posted February 17, 2002 LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) is a method of registering a server, in this instance a FileMker Serevr CPU, in a central directory so that users can find it more easily than having to remember that the server with IP address 12.34.56.78 is the Marketing Department server.
