I have done searches and found that I can delete some folders to reset the admin console settings and go through the process again to set it up.

My question is what impact does this have on Filemaker Pro? Are the databases affected? What exactly will I have to redo when I make these changes?

I inherited our servers recently, and need to make some changes in the admin console. I have a password that is suppose to work, but I am not sure of the username. I am using FMP 10.

Good News! I found the password. Recovery won't be necessary.

Suggest you review the documentation that comes with FileMaker Server. The files are one thing; the Admin Console is something else altogether.
