Now I using demo version E-mail plugiin in FileMaker10 client on windows XP.

I am tring to use the File "360Works Email Plugin Examples" included in the download files.

The problem is that the Email is not sended when I push the "send" button.

The Email is always sended when I re-connect my SMTP server after several minites later than pushing the "send" button.

This is same when using "Quick Send", "Send Bulk E-mail",.....

Please tell me how to send email soon after push the "send" button.

thanks

I'm not entirely clear about your situation, so please excuse me if I have misunderstood you.

It sounds like you are pressing "connect" when you launch the file, and then are writing an email which takes a few minutes. When you press "Send" the email the email will not go out, and you must press "Connect" again and then re-send the email for it to work.

I think what is happening is that your email server is timing-out your connection, as there is a delay between when you connect and when the email. You should write the text of your email first, then connect, send the email, and then disconnect from your mail server.

When using a filemaker script to send your emails out (which is how this plugin should be used) all of these steps will happen within a second or two like they would from a regular mail client, and so the time-out you are experiencing will not be an issue.

Thank you for you reply.

I didn't know that I have to "disconnect" to send email from my PC.

Now Email Plug-jn is OK.
