FMSocket_SL55 on FM10 (win2k3)

I'm fairly new to FileMaker. I am running 10 Server on Windows 2003 Server. I would like to use ODBC connections. When I enable XDBC, I see that is enabled in Windows Event Viewer. Right after that event, I see an error:

The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( FMSocket_SL55 ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: FMSocket_SL55@localhost,ErrorCode=430,ErrorMessage=Failed to open event trace file because the file version is not recognised.

I cannot connect to port 2399.

According to some research, it seems when running FileMaker 9, you can simply rename FMSocket_SL55.trc and the error will go away. I'm running FileMaker 10 and cannot find FMSocket_SL55.trc any where. Can anyone offer some help?

Hi,

I am running Filemaker 10 Server Advanced on a Windows 2008 server. I got the same error message this morning, which resulted in IWP shutting down.

I also have had the issue with getting the two below errors messages which also result in IWP shutting down:

Faulting application w3wp.exe version 7.0.6002.18005

Faulting application fmswpc.exe, version 10.0.1.59

I have read through the discussions on these two issues but haven't seen any resolution to the problems.

Any help would be appreciated.
