How do I draw a vertical line as a break between columns?

I've placed the line on the right side of the column on the layout in order to visually separate the columns; it appears on the first page just fine, but not on the second (and succeeding pages). It doesn't seem to matter whether I have title heading and heading or not. Nor does setting the sliding/printing seem to affect it; the record ends properly at the end of the page, etc. Mysterious.

Welcome to the fun world of FileMaker layout parts :(-)

Assuming you are talking about a list view, DON'T put the line in the "header" or "title header" parts.

Put a short vertical line in the body part. Make sure it is COMPLETELY within the body part.

This should then repeat for every record on all pages.

You'll probably find it has gaps in when you first do it. With a bit of fiddling it can be made to be a continuous line.

Hope that helps.

I can't recreate this, perhaps an upload of a template (save as clone) with some dummy data stuffed in obtained from this:

...which possibly could reveal the whats going on...?
