Smef Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 There was a java update a few weeks ago which caused FileMaker to crash when loading our plugins. If you have not updated your plugins recently, this may be causing your crash. You can download updated versions of our plugins from http://360works.com/products which will work with this Java update and fix this crash. There is a known issue with some of our plugins on certain non-english versions of Windows Vista and Windows 7. Are you working on a non-english OS?

Jim Dhaem Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Did not help, cant load filemaker, alwasy tries to load ScriptMaster, evne after I delete the plugin and even after reinstalling Filemakr Please advise
Smef Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 (edited) It sounds like you have run an auto-update script which installed a plugin into your user's folder. Please looks in your UsersusernameAppDataLocalFileMakerExtensions directory and remove any plugins you have in that directory. The folder is hidden, and so you will either need to enter the path manually into explorer or turn on "show hidden files" in your folder options in order to navigate to it. Put the 3.32 plugin back in your FileMaker extensions directory after you have deleted the plugin installed by auto-update and your FileMaker should be fine. Edited February 26, 2010 by Guest
Jim Dhaem Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 I have a Windows XP machine, where would it be located then. Checked C:Documents and Settings(User)Application DataFileMakerFileMaker Pro Advanced10.0 did not see anything If I do login as a different user Filemaker does work, but I really do not want to switch user accounts.
Jim Dhaem Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Had to delete if from C:Documents and Settings(User)Local SettingsApplication DataFileMakerExtensions to make FileMaker work again
