we have a serious need for the "set next serial number" scriptstep feature in 5.5 but we are distributing by october 1. i assume that if we bind in dev 5.0 we can't use that script step ?

if this is the case, are we sure that it will work when bound in dev5.5? and finally, any word on when exactly we'll get dev 5.5 ?
